DigiScan is a mobile solution that provides for the electronic capture and compilation of Assets Registers or records for organisations. DigiScan ensures accuracy, correctness and completeness of information captured. DigiScan app is installed mobile phones (android OS) where users use do verifications. The mobile app sends data to central database.
There is an Admin module (application installed on a pc) to view all the reports related to verification process as well as exceptions or errors. The mobile app supports OCR capabilities where users can take an image of the cover to extract info such as Title, Author etc. This speeds up the data capturing process.
This not a library management system but a tool to verify and loading of new assets (incl. location, condition of the book etc.). It allows new books to be captured and the data can be exported to a system like WMS.
